How to Find the Right Network Marketing Company
Did you know that all of us are already involved in network marketing? That's right. We already engage in it, but we just don't get paid for it. Think about it. Every time we go to a restaurant we like or seen a movie we really enjoy, we tell those around us about the great meal we had or the movie we saw. We give our recommendation to try it out because we had a great experience. That is network marketing. Network marketing companies take advantage of the word of mouth advertising instead of the traditional methods of advertising such as billboards, telephone and newspaper ads. With the efforts of you sharing the product or services the business offers, they pay you for your efforts.
So, how do you know how to find the right network marketing business? This is a question a lot of people ask, especially if they have no experience in the industry. It is also true that people who have been involved with a few companies already themselves, are still looking for the right fit. There are a lot of people that want to have a lot of success in the network marketing industry, but need to get off on the right foot. Here are five simple ways to determine if you have found the right network marketing business.
1.) Find out the company mission. Find out what is the one single thing why the company created the opportunity for you to become involved in their company. What is there ultimate goal for all the independent consultants of the company? You can completely believe in the product or service the company has to offer, but if the company is not putting the overall reward back to you, then why would you work so hard to promote that product or service?
2.) Find out if the product or service is offered in all the U.S or globally. Believe it or not there are plenty of network marketing companies that do not offer their products or services in all the U.S or globally. This could be at a disadvantage to you because you are missing out on a huge income opportunity. If a product or service is not offered in the state of Florida, then you are missing out on one big potential market.
3.) Understand the compensation plan. Make sure you review the compensation plan thoroughly before you jump right in to it. This is one main reason why a lot of people jump from one network marketing company to the next. They realize they need a lot more volume than they realized and the checks they are getting are just not cutting it. You need to know how you get paid, when you get paid, and much you get paid for selling the product of service. We have all done this with jobs that we have had. We found out exactly what our hourly rate would be and when we would receive our pay check. This is no different so do your homework.
4.) Know how much is going to satisfy you. You need to know how much income it is going to take to satisfy you and/or your family. Knowing this will determine how well you succeed with the company. If you need to make $10,000/month and you are looking into a company that is offers you $10 for every product you sell, then you need to do the math and figure out how much product you would need to sell each and every month to get to that goal.
5.) Ask questions. If there is something you do not understand, pick up the phone and call the person who referred you or call the corporate office. Do not assume. Assumptions will get you nothing but in trouble.
Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki, authors of Why We Want You to Be Rich, both stated in their book that if they lost everything and had to rebuild their wealth they would do it in the network marketing industry. They didn't just mention it, they dedicated an entire chapter to the industry.
